The walk distance was approximately seven miles over old railway line and tracks. It was very wet underfoot but not hard going. Diane brought (and used) an umbrella. We had lunch in the woods, which provided good shelter from the rain. On the route there were several tight kissing gates that we had to navigate. We saw lots of inquisitive cows, also a variety of different breeds of sheep.
